The Fairy Godmother I am happily married with 3 children aged between 13 and 23. I have organized many parties over the years! I am also a therapist with over 18 years experience, working with adults and children, both as a practitioner and a teacher. Most recently I have been teaching meditation techniques.I love the moment at my parties when a child suddenly realises that they can do anything - be whatever they choose - wherever they fancy - if they open their imagination. Through games, stories and a lot of audience participation we are able to go on wonderful flights of fantasy and fun.
An appreciation of the natural world is something I feel passionately should be encouraged in children from an early age, with an understanding that every individual's actions have a consequence. An awareness of this world of Fairies is something everybody should have a chance to enjoy. This theme is gently introduced in my stories and games, always in a way which adds to the fun of a party! All the stories used were written, props have been hand made, specially blended Faerie Dust has been formulated and Magical Faerie Crafts have all been created by the Fairy Godmother. On a practical note, under my other name (Karen Puttick) I am CRB checked and a fully insured member of Equity. All my little helpers are beautiful elfin girlies!
